Mute for Sonos

Mute all your Sonos systems with a single tap of a widget. They will unmute again automatically a while later. Multiple taps of the widget increase the mute time.

HOW IT WORKS

* The widget is deliberately incredibly simple.

* There is no configuration whatsoever.

* The widget always mutes *all* of your Sonos systems. There is no option to mute a selection of them.

* The default mute period is 30 seconds. Each additional tap of the widget adds a further 30 seconds' mute time.

* The mute cannot be cancelled (but you can manually override it via standard Sonos software).

* The number of discovered Sonos systems is shown in a little bubble attached to the edge of the widget.

* Initial discovery can sometimes take a few seconds.

PERMISSIONS

All permissions are needed in order to communicate with Sonos systems over the connected wi-fi network.

THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE

Mute for Sonos uses the Cling library for UPnP protocol support. Cling is CDDL licensed, and more information is available at http://4thline.org/projects/cling/.

Mute for Sonos also uses Jetty, which is licenced under the Apache 2.0 licence. More information is available at http://eclipse.org/jetty/.
